The SharePoint 2013 security update: KB3114503 produces the following error on various components / pages of the site:
TypeError: Unable to get property ‘replace’ of undefined or null reference
Unfortunately this update cannot be removed once applied, however installing the January 2016 Cumulative update: KB3114497 AFTER the problematic security update appears to correct the problem This update can be found at: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3114492
